Kathy Weber grew up in Braintree, MA.
Being the middle of five children, she had to find ways to amuse herself and could often be found sitting quietly in a corner with crayons and paper.

She attended Boston College for two years, and graduated from UMass Dartmouth with a BFA in Painting. A number of advertising art jobs followed, including a position at the Providence Journal- Bulletin Company designing newspaper advertising.
